The Streetlife Festival takes place twice a year, usually in June and in September. In the city of Munich,  long streets are closed for the purpose of giving space for lot of activity and some hundred thousand visitors.

Close to the "Siegenstor" (Victory Gate), on a space usually confined by triple traffic lanes, a barefoot park makes thousands of people take off their shoes.

What a surprise:

barefoot girl meets barefoot park -- and she likes it.

TV gets interested!

The rush increases......

..... until even the night owls get rid of their footwear!

In daylight the barefoot zone turns out to cover the whole area.

The whole world is barefoot park
